The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special isn’t on TV in 2024. Here’s where to watch for free anyway

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” the classic 1973 Peanuts Thanksgiving film, will once again be available to watch on Apple TV+ this year.
As with the last two years, the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special will not air on conventional TV. You will have to watch either online or via a smart TV.
Thanks to a partnership formed in 2020, Apple TV+ holds the exclusive streaming rights to all the major Charlie Brown holiday specials.
Now, with Thanksgiving around the corner, here is everything you need to know about “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on Apple TV+, including when it airs, how to watch, and whether it costs money.
The best part of the special not airing on TV is that you can watch it whenever you want — including right now.
“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving″ is currently available on-demand on Apple TV+, and it will be there for the foreseeable future.
Because of this, you don’t need to wait until next Thanksgiving to watch it again, either. You can watch as many times as you want, as long as you have a subscription.
To watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” sign up for a subscription by going to Apple TV+’s website. The streaming service costs $9.99 per month, and there is a seven-day free trial.
It is available on Amazon’s app store, Apple’s app store, Google Play, and Samsung TV, as well as most internet and digital providers. You can watch from most devices, such as PS5, Xbox, Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV. A comprehensive list can be found here.
Apple TV+ is a streaming subscription service that offers a wide variety of TV shows and movies on-demand.
The service offers up to six viewer profiles, with tons of curated selections for adults and kids, the option to download content and the ability to stream across many devices.
Although it started out small and slow, Apple TV+ has grown enormously in the last few years. Now its roster boasts Emmy winners like “Ted Lasso,” critical darlings like “Mythic Quest” and “Severance,” and even an Oscar-winning film in “CODA.”
If you want to watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” right now, you must be an Apple TV+ subscriber. However, for a brief two-day window from Nov 23-24, the special will be free to anyone, whether they are signed up for Apple TV+ or not.
Next month, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will stream for free on Dec 14-15.
Viewers can watch “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving″ as many times as they want, unless they cancel their subscription. There will be no extra charge for access to it.
